Well hello to you and thanks for browsing my way. A pleasure to receive your mouse click (not a euphemism). Such fun. Welcome to my, what I call, website. I will be adding more photos, exclusive videos and other nonsense in due course so do pop back. Call the Midwife: Christmas Special

Miranda will be filming the Christmas special of Call the Midwife in the height of summer. In the meantime she has been nomnated for a BAFTA for the first series. The BAFTAs will be taking place on 27th May.

Call the Midwife series 1 has come to an end but there will be a second series filming in the summer which should air next year. So Chummy and her policeman husband will be seen again.

Miranda stars in the new BBC drama Call the Midwife set in London’s East End during the 1950s in which a newly qualified midwife begins her career alongside an order of nursing nuns.

The series starts at 8pm on Sunday 15 January 2012 although Miranda’s character, Camilla Cholomondely-Browne (otherwise known as Chummy) will not be appearing until episode two on Sunday 22 January.
