In the meantime she has been nomnated for a BAFTA for the first series. The BAFTAs will be taking place on 27th May.

The series starts at 8pm on Sunday 15 January 2012 although Miranda’s character, Camilla Cholomondely-Browne (otherwise known as Chummy) will not be appearing until episode two on Sunday 22 January.

There won’t be a new Christmas Special, but last year’s Christmas show will be repeated on BBC 1 at some point in the Xmas schedules.

Miranda will be appearing in a few shows in the lead up to Christmas – pop back for further info but we can tell you she will be doing her favourite – It Takes Two – on the Friday 25th November and will be hosting Have I Got News For You for the third time which will be on air Friday 9th December.

very glamorous Glamour Awards on June 7th.

“I thought I had won Most Glamourous Woman of the Year, so I am a little
disappointed, but I’ll take it.”

She was presented the award by JLS.

“After working with JLS on Comic Relief I consider myself their 5th band
member so it’s only fitting they should present the award. They don’t know
it yet, but I am going on tour with them. I am currently learning all the
‘steps’ in my kitchen.”

She is very excited but the highlight of the night was winning a dare to ask Ant and Dec for a bottle of champagne because the BBC aren’t allowed to buy champagne for their tables. Ant and Dec were kind enough to oblige!

A big fat thank you for your support.  You have made someone whose dream it was to get into comedy very happy. I am apparently now officially called the Queen of Comedy, so no eye contact please, only speak when you are spoken to and back out of the room.  Thank you subjects.
